Roisin was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in 2021, having earlier graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology) in 2020. As part of her degree, Roisin was selected to undertake an internship at Monash Law’s ‘Anti-Death Penalty Clinic’ in 2019, where she worked with a number of organisations around the world to advocate for clients on death row. Having a strong sense of justice, Roisin has developed a natural advocacy style that is both compassionate yet direct. These advocacy skills have been to the benefit of her clients since she commenced as a lawyer within our office.
Prior to admission Roisin was a pivotal part of the administration team responsiblie for the day to day running of the support team in our office. She has therefore worked for many years with our lawyers, barristers and court staff, which has enabled Roisin to develop a comprehensive understanding of court procedure.
Roisin appears daily as an advocate in the Magistrate’s Court for criminal matters, including bail applications, plea hearings, contested and mention hearings
