Taina holds a degree in Common Law and Civil Law from Nanterre University, Paris when she was raised with her family. Taina has also obtained a postgraduate degree in Law specialising in Business Law (with Honours). She has gained extensive experience in the field of corporate insolvencies throughout her early career.
In 2013, Taina completed a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne with particular focus on White Collar Criminal Law, International Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Human Rights, Drugs and Death Penalty as well as Prosecuting the War on Terrorism.
Taina has been a Consultant at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) where her role focused on enforcing compliance with international money laundering provisions and assisting various countries with the drafting of anti-money laundering legislation.
In 2015, Taina joined our team as a legal assistant while undertaking the conversion of her foreign degrees, which she finalised in 2017.
Taina was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2018.
With her international background Taina speaks fluent French and English, intermediate Spanish and basic Arabic.
