Natasha completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Psychological Science at La Trobe University in 2018. Natasha utilises her multi-disciplinary education to focus on clients with complex psychological needs.
Natasha has been working within the legal industry since 2014 in various areas of law including conveyancing, commercial, property and family law. Natasha has also volunteered at Victoria Legal Aid and at the Nillumbik and Banyule Community Legal Centre. Natasha also completed a semester of her law degree at the University of Windsor in Canada.
Natasha has always been passionate about criminal law and joined Emma Turnbull Lawyers in early 2018. Starting as a legal assistant enabled Natasha to develop a strong understanding of the policies and procedures underpinning the practice of criminal law. Since Natasha’s transition to a lawyer at our firm, she has built a strong client database and excellent rapport with clients.
Natasha appears in the Magistrates’ Court on a daily basis in all criminal matters for plea hearings, bail applications, mention and contest mention hearings as well as carrying a number of committal stream cases. Natasha also appears in the County Court for appeals against sentence and instructs Counsel in County and Supreme Court trials.
Natasha has been a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and Victorian Women Lawyers since 2018. In addition, Natasha attends regular criminal law seminars to ensure her knowledge is conversant with the continuous developments in the law.
